Dancehall’s prefect Popcaan looks to release his latest album ‘Great Is He’ in October after teasing fans about dropping it “this month”.
Poppy, who had shared that he was working on a new project earlier in the year, revealed via his Twitter, that the album is officially completed.

The Firm and Strong singer then followed up that tweet with another, asking his fans if he should release the project this month.

While no features (if any) have been revealed as yet, Popcaan has been spotted with label boss Drake at various events in recent times.
Drizzy was one of the major features on his last release – Fixtape.
The ‘6 God’ teamed up with fellow heavy hitter and label signee PartyNextDoor for their hit single Twist and Turn.
With Poppy also seemingly taking on a mentorship role to reggae singer Imeru Tafari, of whom both have a hit single – Elevate, it also presents a strong case that he may also have been enlisted for the album.
Popcaan’s last project Fixtape came out in 2020 to rave reviews and featured the likes of Drake, PartyNextDoor, Jada Kingdom, Masicka and Tommy lee Sparta.
The Unruly boss, who has been performance-heavy this year, also had a summer smash with his Burna Boy feature Toni-Ann Singh (TAS). This track is the second single from Burna’s Love, Damini album.
Popcaan also celebrated platinum status this year, as his collaborative effort with rapper Young Thug on Jamie XX’s -Good Times was certified platinum in Canada in September moving over 80,000 units in that country.
Good times had previously earned Gold status in US after registering the equivalent of over 500,000 units in 2021.
