KINGSTON, Jamaica — Dancehall deejay Popcaan will add to his growing list of musical accolades with a RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) platinum plaque.

The award comes after international Hip Hop artiste Megan Thee Stallion’s album Good News, of which Popcaan was featured on the song Intercourse, recently went platinum. 

Good News, the debut studio album by Megan Thee Stallion achieved platinum status after it entered the prestigious Billboard 200 charts at number two and sold over one million copies. 

Popcaan was among a star-studded feature list including Beyonce, SZA, Dababy and the City Girls.
