Popcaan has acquired his first RIAA Gold Certification- he is featured on the Gold Single I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times) that was made by Jamie XX ft Young Thug. The Song went Gold earlier this week- Made under the British Young Turks Label, in 2015. 

The Unruly Boss has been seen making his strides with international artistes and companies. Popcaan is known for working with international acts such as Drake and Gorillaz. He has also recently worked with the R&B artiste Jorja. 

Popcaan has been signed to the Canadian Label owned by Drake- OVO since 2018. 

Poppy’s career started when he made his first hit in 2008, while under Vybz Kartel’s Gaza Music Empire- he credits his ‘big buss’ to Kartel seeing his potential.
