LASCO Distributors Limited has announced an increase in the prices of its products.

The announcement came yesterday in a letter to customers.

The increase is to take effect on Monday, August 23, 2021.

“The price increase is as a result of rising product supply and freight costs which continue to escalate. LASCO Distributors Limited is not able to absorb the full cost impact of these increases to our operations and, as such, we are forced to increase our prices,” the letter, signed by Managing Director John De Silva, said.

“Your assigned sales representative will discuss with you the detailed list of products impacted by the price increase,” it added.
