Prime Minister Andrew Holness today (Tuesday) met with South Korea, Prime Minister, His Excellency Han Duck-soo on several pressing matters.

Mr Holnes says the discussion was about renewable energy, digitization and “use of technology such as cameras and security sensors that can be integrated into our national security framework, among other things”.

He said “Jamaica is all about building relationships and solidifying bonds of mutual support.”

The PM added that Jamaica is looking to cooperate and collaborate with South Korea in these and other agreed developmental projects.

This is not new for his government as back in 2019, PM Holness met with Jamaican/Korean Association in South Korea to tackle renewable energy and forged the partnerships needed.

Mr. Holness is currently in Trinidad and Tobago where is meeting with several world and regional leaders.
