Prime Minister Andrew Holness is calling for a speedy review of the Integrity Commission Act.

A Joint Select Committee of Parliament and the Parliamentary Oversight Committee are examining the Act with a view to effecting several changes.

Members of Parliament have raised questions about the Commission’s handling of some investigations into allegations of corruption, some of which include the Prime Minister and other cabinet members.

Mr. Holness addressed the matter and argued that the review should be concluded urgently.

Meanwhile, he has urged his parliamentary colleagues to stop engaging the Integrity Commission in a public quarrel.
