French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germaine (PSG), have reportedly shown interest in the acquisition of Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford as he enters into the final two-years of his contract.

According to reports, representatives of Rashford were recently in the France, to discuss a possible move to the French for the England forward.

Important to note however, is that the forward is said to be happy at the club and has prioritized staying at Old Trafford.

A stance that has been reiterated to United chiefs throughout the summer.

The 24-year, who seems to have rediscovered a bit of form in their pre-season fixtures, is also among manger Erik- ten Haag’s plans for a restructured United program. However, their opening Premier League loss at home to Brighton Hove Albion, has done little to help that cause.

PSG who are themselves currently going under a reform of sorts, have shown in the past that they are able to lure players they really want into their lineup.

Despite having the deadly trio of Neymar Jr, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe among their ranks, PSG manger Christophe Galtier, has made no secret of his interest adding an additional forward to support their attack.

“Yes, we would like to bring in another forward. We have a very busy schedule, so we would like to bring someone in,” the Frenchman said at press conference recently.

Rashford made only 25 appearance last season netting just four times after spending a great portion on the sidelines following his shoulder surgery.
