The Reggae Boyz ended their campaign in Austria with a credible 1-1 drawn result against the World Cup host Qatar in the finals of the two game fixtures in Europe.

The match which was the final for both teams was played behind closed doors.

The number 62 ranked Boyz who went down 3-0 in Morocco on Wednesday would have felt a sense of urgency to leave the tour with something to show, and that they did.

Former DaCosta Cup standout Jourdain Fletcher found the back of the net in 71st minute to hand the Caribbean team the lead.

Despite the effort by the CONCACAF giant, they could not hold on to that lead, reports assert that the Qatari’s were able to pull level before the full-time whistle to ensure that both teams leave with a share of the honors.

Despite the draw the squad which was majority locally based players, would have left with more confidence than they came in.

With a reported mega clash with South American Powerhouse Argentina next month they will hope they would have also given the coaching staff some food for thought in selection for that fixture.
