The Reggae Girlz is set to face Spain on Thursday in their opening fixture at the Cup of Nations tournament in Australia which runs from February 16-22.
The game will be the first of three fixtures for the Girlz who will also tackle the Czech Republic, as well as defending champion, and, tournament host Australia.
The tournament which is an invitation event, sees four teams battle it out in a round-robin format which sees the team with the most points after all games played declared the champion.
Following Thursday’s opener against Spain, they’ll then tackle the Czech Republic on Saturday before closing their fixtures on Wednesday (February 22) against hosts Australia.
The Cup of Nations tournament is being used as valuable preparations ahead of the 2023 Women’s World Cup which will be jointly hosted by New Zealand and Australia from July 20 –August 20.
