Just over a week ahead of her highly anticipated Super Bowl halftime show performance, pop megastar Rihanna is showing that her reign in the entertainment space has only just begun after being ranked the richest musician in the world.

Rihanna, who announced her six-year hiatus from live performances will come to end at this month’s Superbowl as the halftime shows headliner will also mark the feat as the premier figure in terms of touchdown in the bank.

The Bajan Billion’s accumulated net worth of $1.7 billion was adjusted to the top of the Forbes list of wealthiest artists/musicians currently following the precipitous fall in wealth by former leader Kanye West after the termination of several lucrative deals.

Rihanna who entered the Billionaire club in 2021 with 1.4 billion on the back of her successful Cosmetics and Lingerie brands- Fenty Beauty and Savage x Fenty immediately eclipsed her peers as the richest female musicians according to Forbes Magazine.

In 2022 the publication also recognized the 34-year Barbados-born bombshell as the youngest self-made billionaire on their “America’s richest self-made woman” list.

By December of that year with a further US $300 million added to her books and Ye’s net worth going in the opposite direction, plummeting to 500 million, RiRi not only took over as the richest female singer but also the wealthiest musician overall.
