Weeks after singer Rushawn Ewears’ viral rendition of Jermaine Edwards’ ‘Beautiful Day’ took the world by storm, the teen sensation appeared in his first international music video alongside UK rapper Prinz for his remix of the track which dropped on Thursday.

The video which was teased earlier this month via social media was officially premiered on Thursday night.

Visuals for the track opens with the famous clip of a younger Rushawn signing the popular chorus which leads into the now 16-year-old showing his matured vocal growth as he’s given space to shine alongside the rapper.

Prinz and Rushawn delivered a strong performance under the watchful mentorship of Edwards who also appears in the video in a supportive capacity.  

The track which is one of the hundreds of remixes and samples produced from the Gospel hit is also the first official music video directly tied into the remix.

The collaboration with Prinz is also the first of several projects planned for the song since Edwards’ recent partnership with Sony records UK.

The track has so far racked up over 73,000 streams in its first 20 hours and looks set to continue its rapid growth as the notoriety of this and other remixes increase.
