A 30-year-old San Francisco woman has been arrested and charged for repeatedly stabbing a man whom she accused of not paying her bills.

The suspect in question, Cassandra Gutierrez, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second-degree felony.

An arrest warrant revealed that Gutierrez and the unidentified man went to her apartment last Thursday after having cocktails at a nearby bar.

It is understood that an intense argument ensued which escalated into a brawl. During the brawl, Gutierrez went to the kitchen, grabbed a knife, and stabbed the gentleman in his neck, right hand, left leg, and back while screaming “you did not help me pay my bills!”

The victim, however, managed to escape and called for help while at the apartment’s leasing office.

Upon arrival, detectives discovered the victim along with a pool of blood which led to the woman’s apartment.

The victim was rushed to the Brooke Army Medical Center where he was admitted in stable condition.

An arrest warrant was also issued for Gutierrez that day however police records revealed that she was detained on Tuesday on a $75,000 bond.
