Shane-O has been on the scene for almost two decades and he hasn’t taken any breaks. He describes himself as a fun person, always jovial, especially around his friends.
The artiste also shared that he is an avid watcher of cartoons. He did make sure to clarify it’s no “joke cartoons”- he watches the popular Horror Anime, Vampire Hunter.
In a sit down with him in the SLEEK studio, he shared how the music journey has been for him.
“It’s been rough so far, me still a put in the work..despite how the thing look, just believe inna me self same way because you know a self belief”
The artiste makes it clear that he has faith in his talent, no matter how the music scene may be and he knows his fans have belief in him and his music.
For him, inspiration comes from being in the streets with the people.
He aims to bring people’s truths to life with his music.
The main thing on the young writer is the upcoming EP that he has been working on for the past two months. When asked what inspired the body of work Shane-O explained
“Boy is a lot of things inspire me bout this yah EP, cause from COVID come me nuh see some a dem enuh… the EP is called On and Off Loyalty
The EP will have 8 songs and it will be hitting the streets by the end of March. He dropped a piece of the EP in the studio and it’s definitely something to look out for. The Singer has way more work on the way including more songs in the coming months from Shane-O and his label also has work coming from some new artistes.
