Dancehall’s musical Alpha Shenseea continues to her affirm her growing demand after being confirmed for the Coachella Music & Arts Festival slated for April at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

Shenseea is slated to perform on the 15 and 22 (both Saturdays) and will share the stage with the likes of pop sensations The Kid Laroi, Rosalia, and the day’s headliner Black Pink among several other international hitmakers over weekends.

The Jamaican is the only dancehall act listed on the weekend that forms part of the two-week mega music and art festival in the desert which also sees the likes of Bad Bunny, Burna Boy, Metro Booming, and Rae Sremurd on the other days.

The festival is the first major performance confirmed for 2023 which looks like another major 12 months for the ‘trending gyal’, who has hinted that her sophomore album is likely to be released this year.

In addition to the slated performances, the hype around that project, as well as intrigue for existing songs, would have no doubt been furthered after recently trending for allegedly being among the go-to artistes for Royalty.

The Coachella carry over the momentum on tour from a strong 2022 which also included performances at Rolling Loud Music Festivals in New York and Portugal as well as the Wireless festival in Birmingham, UK.
