After weeks of teasing, international dancehall star Shenseea has officially released her highly anticipated single “Waistline” ahead of her pending album.

The single was officially released on Friday, and Shenseea took to social media to share the news with fans.

The “London On Da Track” co-produced record gives a groovy, sultry reggae feel that’s complimented by the subtle yet smooth dancehall bounce, which presents an intoxicating buildup for the new album.

The song was A&R’d by Donny “Dizzy” Flores and Beam.

“Waistline” falls in line with Shenseea’s recent releases, “Sold Out” and “Curious,” which may be suggestive of her current musical direction of a prioritised emphasis on a more reggae/dancehall sound and perhaps a hint to the overall feel of the album.

Both tracks have been met with predominantly positive reception since their respective releases.

While anticipation begins to mount for the album, an official date has yet to be announced. The project will be Shenseea’s second official studio release since her 2022 debut drop, “Alpha.”
