Dancehall superstar Shenseea has been featured in the US-based publication Ebony Magazine, as part of its Women’s History Month series for March.

The singer was among several high-profile personalities across varying professions who are being given special highlights through its latest month-long feature series.

The ‘Blessed’ hitmaker gave insights on her journey to reach the current status in her career as well what various attributes she has developed to make her an Alpha in her professional endeavors.

“Being a barrier breaker means going against all the odds, going against everyone who has tried to put me in a box,” she shared while describing the level of tenacity she embodies in making her mark in the industry.

“…Greatness if it’s going to be done properly, you have to take your time because you need time to learn, you need time to grow. You have to follow your spirit I’m telling you, especially if you are very versatile”, she continued.

Shenseea joins the likes of R&B star Chloe Bailey, screenwriter, and actress- Quinta Brunson, legendary actress Angela Bassett, and former First Lady Michelle Obama, as noted women highlighted by Ebony as part of its month-long celebration of women achievers.

Shenseea, who recently delivered a high-energy performance at the California leg of Rolling Loud, is currently working on her follow-up project to her 2022 debut album, Alpha.
