Shenseea highlighted among Apple Music’s “UpNext” class of 2022

International Dancehall sensation Shenseea is closing her 2022 on a high after again being highlighted by Music streaming platform Apple Music as part of it’s standout ‘Up next’ Class of 2022 acts.

Up Next is a program published by Apple Music that’s aimed at identifying, showcasing and elevating rising global star talent.

 Each month, Apple Music’s editorial team selects an artist to promote in order to the raise the global awareness of the act to help spur the further growth of the artist’s audience.

 In August 2017, Apple Music premiered a monthly mini-documentary series chronicling the artistes’ journey, inspiration and influences.

Past Up next highlighted then upcoming acts includes: 6lack, Khalid, Daniel Ceaser in 2017; Stefflon Don, Bad Bunny, Koffee, Megan Thee Stallion Summer Walker in 2018 and Burna Boy in 2019.

Shenseea has been among the standout names from Jamaica in the last year and half and among the hottest new faces on the global scene in the past year, which has seen her rack up major collaborations and awards nods.

Among those feats includes Grammy, MOBO, and MTV awards nominations.

Shenyeng who linked up with the Likes Ye, Major lazor last year has maintained her status as one of the I girls for hot features which was evidenced in her Collab with super producer Calvin Harris and Charlie Puth on Obsessed.

Also, her feature contribution on Wizkid’s track -Slip N Slide which also features fellow Jamaican Skillibeng.

The ‘Blessed’ hitmaker is currently putting together material for her sophomore album which is set for release in 2023.
