The international hit status of music stars Shenseea, Masicka and Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor’s release “Hit & Run” was reaffirmed on Wednesday after being listed among Vevo UK’s top ten most notarised music videos of 2024.

The song’s placement among the platform’s highly anticipated year-end wrapped list was revealed via Vevo’s social media and was ranked alongside major titles like Shaboozy’s Bar Song (Tipsy) and Kendrick Lamar’s -“Not Like Us”.

“Hit & Run,” which was the lead single for Shenseea’s Grammy-nominated “Never Gets, Late Here” album, has made several charts locally and internationally, along with award nominations throughout the year.

The video for the collaboration has crossed 100 million streams on YouTube and continues to remain a playlist favourite among jugglings.

Both Masicka and Shenseea have been having a major year on the road in the studio, with Shenseea earning her Grammy nod, while Masicka has delivered consecutive chart-toppers as anticipation for his latest project grows to fever levels.
