Shenseea, Masicka, Skillibeng, Popcaan, Spice and Buju Banton are among the top contenders nominated for the Best Reggae/ Dancehall Artiste at the Africa Entertainment Awards (AEA) USA.

The Awards, set for November 9 in New Jersey, sees the Jamaicans among a staggering 11 acts nominated in the category during its reveal Tuesday, which includes Afrobeats stars- Stone Boy, Pata Rankin, Ruger and Shatta Walle.

Shenseea and Skillibeng also secured nods for Best Collaboration.-Shenseea’s smash with “Hit & Run” ft Masicka and DI Genius and Skilli’s global hit collab with Tyla and Gunna on “Jump” were the selected songs.

Teejay was also nominated in the category for his Drift remix ft Afrobeats megastar Davido.

“Hit & Run” was also nominated for Song of the Year at the Awards.

Shenseea also earned a nomination for “International Artiste of the Year” along with fellow Dancehall juggernaut Spice.

Jahshii also bagged a nod at the awards for the Best New Artiste/Group category.
