The phallic theme in Shenseea’s Be Good was evident from its announcement on her social media pages last week.

The post featured a side shot of a regally-outfitted Shenseea  which revealed a suggestive hairstyle captioned “That’s all that’s on my damn mind lately!!! #BeGood dropping this Friday”.

The music video, already at one million views on YouTube, takes the viewer from a scenic river escape to a dreamlike forest.

At the river, the Trending Gyal songstress is clad in a racy yellow ensemble as women splash and dance provocatively around her.

The forest scene sees the singer donning a hard hat and a lumberjack’s flannel to seductively carry out tree-chopping duties.

Keeping in stride with the song cover, the lyrics of Be Good are sexual and in true Shenseea fashion, bar-heavy. The title itself is a play on the Jamaican slang ‘big hood’.

Created by Jamaican record producer Rvssian, the beat perfectly blends the traditional dancehall drop with an international sound sure to appeal to overseas markets.

In all, the song is catchy, raunchy and made to be an instant hit at the parties local fans long for.

Be Good follows Run Run and makes for the second single off Shenseea’s upcoming album, the name of which has not yet been announced.
