Dancehall front runner Shenseea has given the strongest indication to date of a forthcoming album after updating her social media bio to “Album mode” earlier this week.
The Romeich entertainment managed star, who recently celebrated a landmark 2 million YouTube subscribers – the first female dancehall artiste to do so, has been teasing fans about dropping a project.
The Grammy-nominated singer, who has become a staple on the international scene, has been doing works with A-list producers such as Rvssian and Murder Beatz, producer of her soon-to-be-released track ‘Lick’ with rapper Megan thee Stallion.
The Shenyeng boss dropped the teaser for her ‘Lick’ video which is set for a Friday release on her Instagram today, along with a meme reacting to the wait for the album with a clip.
‘Lick’ which has sent tongues wagging since the announced record with the rapper this week, has seemingly positioned itself as the possible lead single from her debut project.
Shenseea has been working non-stop over the past year dropping at least four videos in the last six months, all of which have immediately dominated streams on both YouTube and other music platforms in their release.
With an ever-growing fanbase and possible Grammy glory on the horizon, it’s not farfetched to predict a debut drop from the ‘Trending Gyal’.
