Dancehall’s Alpha Shenseea continues to expand her notoriety after landing the cover of Euphoria Magazine.

The ‘Run Run’ hitmaker, dazzled as the main feature of the online publication as she opened up about being touted as the next major act from the country and of course the Album.

The Magazine, which is among the fastest-growing online publications has featured the likes of British pop stars Labrinth and Bebe Rexha also, American powerhouse Megan trainer.

With the ‘Loodi’ singer now added to their ranks, it confirms that the Alpha’s reach is growing to new territory and her reign is looking very imminent.

In the interview with Euphoria Mag’s Fabio Magnocavallo, she opened up about several things including what led her into Music: “I was raised in a musical household,” the 25-year-old says, adding, “My auntie used to play music so loud when I was young so I was forced to hear it.”

“Everybody in my family can sing or play an instrument or write. I feel like it’s in my genes at this point, but I’ve always wanted to become an artist. That’s always been my dream and I think it’s safe to say that I’m out here living it ”, she added.

The Blessed hitmaker also shared her backup plan of being a police officer in the instance music path didn’t work: “I always have a backup plan with everything that I’m doing. I wanted to be a police officer”, she shared.

“I took my subjects to become one, but my family didn’t want me to be a police officer because they thought it was too dangerous” , she continued.

Cleary, we see which one materialized, as the Apple music’s ‘Up Next’ artists to watch, has since grown into one of the most recognizable figures in music. Including copping MOBO awards for Best Reggae act and Grammy nods in several categories.

Her debut Album ALPHA has already entered several charts including topping the Reggae Billboards, as well opening in the top two for albums on the US rap charts. This is in addition to occupying the top eight spots Reggae singles chart.

Shenseea has also been credited as being the first female act in 17 years from Jamaica to appear on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.
