Shericka Jackson posted a routine 10.94s to secure third place in the women’s 100m at the London Diamond League meet on Sunday.

Jackson running from lane four, appeared to have used the meeting as a competitive training to work on a particular aspect of her form.

Despite seemingly prioritizing technique over speed, the Jamaican was still able to log a sub-11 time for third in London. The race was won by Ivory Coast’s Mariee-Josee Ta Lou in 10.75s, followed by Dina-Asher Smith of the UK who posted 10.85s for second.

Jackson who has already registered a 10.64s PB and world lead this season, appears to be focusing on strengthening potential weak areas ahead of the World Championships in Budapest next month.
