“Signed”: Ishawna celebrates international record deal

“SIGNED, SEALED AND READY TO DELIVER‼️” says Dancehall artiste Ishawna, after she officially inked an international record deal.

Ishawna is now officially signed to New York-based Pay Day records. The company is credited with helping the early launch of the careers of major hip hop names such as Jay Z and Mose def among others.

‘Ms Legendry’, took to Instagram to share the news of the next chapter of her story.

The ‘Equal rights’ singer posted pictures and videos of herself and record label boss Patrick Moxy signing on the dotted lines.

“I am super excited to announce that I just signed my first International Record Deal.”

“The Do for love” also thanked record producer and friend ‘Skatta’ Burrel (who was also on hand to witness the signature) for helping her along her journey

Ishawna has been having a good year on the international scene after her official collaboration with Pop Superstar Ed Sheeran titled ‘Brace it’ experienced chart success on the British charts as well as multimillion streaming figures on Spotify.

Payday which was originally launched in 1992 was relaunched in 2018 with a collaborative, distribution deal with Ultra music which operates as a subsidy of Major label Sony records.
