Questions are now a plenty about the safety of rising Dancehall star Silk Boss after the release of a video showing him being assaulted by unknown men last night.

In a now-viral video; the artiste is seen being assaulted by two masked men in a room, who were reportedly said to be acting on behalf of an area leader as a warning to the artiste.

The roughly 15-second Tik Tok clip shows the artiste receiving several blows to the face by both men, who can be heard saying that he offended the don of the area.

The video caption read: “This is what happen when you Ramp Wid Gulf man Silkboss 1 chargie badness Yer dat.”

“Do do, do bro do, me a beg yuh please ”a visibly frightened Silk Boss pleads, for remorse from the assailants to stop their attack on him as he offered virtually no resistance seemingly out of fear.

“Don’t ramp wid the boss you duh the wrong ting”; one of the men can also be heard intimidating the deejay

Whilst it remains unclear what prompted the attack, two of the more popular assertions online include; the artiste allegedly painting his name over that of the alleged leader of the area who is stated as ‘Gulf Man’ on a wall in a particular community.

An act that is said had not gone down well with him.

Another widely speculated assertion surrounds his alleged refusal to purchase weapons.

It’s in a separate video a man is seen in a beige color hoodie painting out Silk boss’ name on a wall which seems to support the initial claim by some online users.

The artiste has yet to respond to the incident following its viral now spread. Neither has there been news of a police report being filed in connection to the incident.

Despite the rather disturbing nature of the video, they’re a few left in the confusion given the timing of the release of the video with him currently being hyped as one of the potential major draws at the clash segment of Sting’s return.

With a few querying if the act was staged or a genuine attack on the young deejay.
