Dancehall sensation Skeng has reportedly been given a November 7 court date and an extension of his bail after his appearance at the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Thursday morning.
The case stems from a May 24 fracas between the artiste and a port security at the Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA).
The incident eventually led to Skeng whose given name is Kevon Douglas, being charged with disorderly behavior and resisting arrest.
His co-accused, Cara Wilson and Shaquille Kelly, are said to have had their bail extended.
It’s understood that Skeng’s legal team noted that part of the requested footage from the airport has yet to be released to them and as such was granted a later mention date to receive and review the missing footage.
It’s further understood that case-file is yet to be completed on the matter.
The pending matter, has not significantly impacted the ‘London’ hitmaker’s momentum as he has since went to headline several events locally and overseeas as well as grafted international attention.
Rapper super star Nicki Minaj added the remix to his single ‘Likkle Miss’ to her recently release Queen radio Volume 1 album.
