The highly anticipated the ‘Beast of the Era’ EP by dancehall sensation Skeng Don is set for release at midnight on Friday.
Skeng confirmed the EP’s release via his Instagram on Thursday.
Anticipation for the project was heightened after Skeng dropped the official track listing for the project on Tuesday. Tho comes two weeks after the reveal of the official name and graphic of the coming project via his social media on October 20.
The production of the five-track project features works from heavy hitters Tarik ‘Rvssian’ Johnson and Shenseea. The super producer is credited with two tracks on the EP – Thug Life and Its true.
The latter features Dancehall elite Shenseea on the record.
Beast of the Era EP, also sees production coming from long-time collaborators Buddah Di Truth and John Coop.
Coop also has two credits on the project including the second and fourth songs- High Way and New Era while Buddah is responsible for the opening single – Demons Awake.
DropTop Records also has a production contribution on the album with Eediatt “Idiot” Jigsta.
While Shenseea is the only revealed guest feature on the project it would not be farfetched,
if a particular international Barbie makes a surprise drop in some shape of form in connection the project.
Given the immense success of the Ratty gang boss and the ever-growing demand for his content, the project is expected to maintain that level of positive reception among older and new fans of his music.
