The Instagram account of Dancehall star Skillibeng was seemingly the target of hackers recently according to a message posted on the page on Friday.
In an ‘Insta-story’ post on Friday, the account noted that it was indeed hacked and not necessarily in the control of the artiste over the past few days.
Skilli’s main account @skillibeng did draw a bit of curiosity over the past week after a series of tik tok videos began to be posted by the page.
The videos showed women- seemingly fans of the artiste dancing to his song 2022 song ‘Whap whap’.
Given that the videos showed off the popularity of the song, it would have appeared to many as a promotional activity of sorts by the page.
SKilli’s backup page @badeveryday has however reported no such activity.
‘Whap whap’ which was his first release since signing to major US record Label-RCA Records, became a viral hit shortly after its drop and spawned several remixes and challenges on Tik Tok.
Skillibeng recently came off tour with Wizkid and is currently promoting his more recent single, ‘Short skirt’.
