The Entertainment industry in Jamaica has been closed since last year yet there are videos, pictures and audio of gatherings with more than 10 persons being circulated on social media.

Despite the curfew or the gathering limit that has been extended to March 1, persons refuse to stay home.

Persons have been charged under the Disaster Risk Management Act, but this has not served as a deterrent for some promoters or patrons as CCU confirmed that an illegal event was shutdown as recent as yesterday.

In some cases, patrons and observers document the festivities and then post them on social media. Recently images surfaced with what appears to be helicopters hovering in the skies.
