Splash brothers lead Warriors fightback to snap losing streak

Steph Curry and Klay Thompson were in ‘splash mode’ on Monday night, as they led defending champions Golden State Warriors to a 121-108 victory over the Houston Rockets Monday.

Curry dropped a game-high 30 points with 7 rebounds, while Thompson followed up with 29 buckets and 7 rebounds rebounds as the ‘Splash brothers deposited 59 of their 121 points on the night.

Despite claiming the opening quarter 26-26, the Warriors faded over the following two quarters; tying 29-29 in the second before being clipped 30-29 in the third quarter.

Golden State eventually found a ‘second wind’ in the final quarter to pull away 37-28 and claim a vital victory in Houston.

The victory, is the Warriors’ 36th of the season which pushes them to number six in the Western Conference.
