Netball Juggernauts, Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls continued their perfect run at the Americas Netball World Cup qualifiers on Thursday, after dismissing St Lucia 85-30 to make it 6 from 6, at the National Indoor Sports Centre.
The Jamaicans who was the class act between two showed that dominance taking all quarters easily.
They claimed first with an impressive 25-6 score before further imposing their will with an 18-8 second-quarter lead for a commanding 43-14 halftime advantage.
The second half of the game was more of the same as they extended their lead to 48 points after the third quarter ended 68-20 in favor of the hosts.
Despite a more contained final quarter, they maintained their poise to close out the game by 55 points following a 17-10 fourth quarter score to end 85-30.
Gizelle Allison was the top shooter for the Girls; dropping 56 goals from 66 attempts. She got support from Kelsey Jonas;22 from 27 and Amanda Pinkney 7 from 10.
