Jamaica’s national champion Megan Tapper claimed bronze in the women’s 100m hurdles at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games a short while ago.
Tapper, running out of lane nine, got her usual blistering start and stayed on well for third in 12.55 seconds behind Olympic Record holder Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico who won in 12.37 seconds.
American Kendra Harrison, the World Record holder, was second in 12.52 seconds.
Britany Anderson, the other Jamaican in the event, clipped the sixth and eighth hurdles and stumbled out of contention to finish last in 13.24 seconds.
