A former Tennessee based teacher is facing 19 criminal counts for posting sexually explicit content of her students to TikTok.

The accused Taylor Cruze who was indicted by a grand jury last week, faces five counts of exploitation of a minor under 13 by electronic means, and five counts of especially aggravated sex exploitation of a minor.

Cruze is also charged with three counts of solicitation of a minor, rape of a child, and one count of sexual battery by an authority figure.

Reports indicate that Cruze allegedly engaged some of her students in explicit communications and sexual contact.

Further reports also state that after the alleged encounters, Cruze would then upload the videos to TikTok. However, it was unclear how old the victims in this case are.

Following this, a formal report was filed by the parent of one of the alleged victims and an investigation commenced in May.

Cruze was however suspended without pay from the Rutherford County School on May 2 and resigned from her job May 22.

The accused was however arrested last month and released on $100,000 bond. In the interim, Cruze is scheduled to return to court for a plea hearing on September 28.
