A 29-year-old Texan woman is being tried in New Boston court for stabbing her pregnant friend 100 times and removing the victim’s unborn child following the incident in 2020.

The accused Taylor Rene Parker was formally charged with capital murder for the death of Reagan Michelle Simmons-Hancock, non- capital murder in relation to the death of her unborn child and kidnapping.

Reports indicate that on October 9,2020 at around 10:20 a.m., police received a call about a woman who was found dead in her New Boston home.

Upon arrival lawmen discovered Hancock with what appeared to be multiple stab wounds and blunt force trauma to the head.

Further reports also outlined that following the attack, Parker led officers in a frantic chase but was subsequently pulled over.

It is understood that during the ordeal, Parker informed officers that she had given birth by the side of the road, and that the baby was not breathing.

Subsequently both Parker and the baby were both rushed by ambulance to McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma. Hospital staff however were suspicious of Parker when she refused to be checked out by doctors.

The baby died at the hospital.

Meanwhile, a coroner’s report revealed that Hancock was stabbed 100 times and had her skull crushed with a hammer before a scalpel was used to remove her unborn baby.

As it now stands however, Parker is slated to undergo trial for a month, if convicted, the accused could face the death penalty.
