Music’s newest Alpha, international Recording Artiste Shenseea, toasted the role manager, Romeich Major, has played in bringing her career to this level and the making of the album.

Speaking with SLEEK Jamaica in a recent interview the ‘Blessed’ hitmaker was overwhelmed with praise for the level of support and effort made by “musical husband”, Romeich.

“He’s definitely apart of my backbone for sure, I was just telling him that he is my musical husband. Like he goes harder than me sometimes,” she expressed.

“I put out the work in writing and recording but when it comes to marketing my stuff, like we work hand in hand, 50/50. He goes hard for me just as much as I go hard for me and even harder when I’m down. He’s always there for me no matter what. I love Romiech,” the ‘R u that’ singer added.

In another interview, Shenseea shared that it was Romeich who got into recording her music five years ago. “I was working with Romeich as promo girl for him and I was doing covers and ciphers and just broadcasting throughout my social media and Romiech who was my boss at the time was in my contact list and he got my video too. So he pulled me aside said; yow you got talent. I see something in you. We should work together as more than boss to promo girl and more like a manager to artiste.”

To which she noted that given his work ethic, how he treats people and the respect he shows, she agreed to the career move.

She brags that her first-ever recording was because of him including her 2017 break-out hit ‘Loodi’ with ‘worl boss’ Vybz Kartel, which was only her third song.

She also noted at the time he was just going into artiste management, so it was just an example of mutual faith, respect, and belief in each other which eventually manifested into the success seen today.

‘ALPHA’ which was released on Friday, March 11, is the first official studio album for the Interscope recording Artiste.
