The three men accused of the 2018 murder of rapper XXXTentacion in Florida were found guilty on Monday following more than a week of deliberations.

XXXTentacion whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy was shot to death on June 18, 2018, outside of a motorcycle shop in Deerfield Beach, north of Miami, ABC new reports.

According to reports; the Broward County Sheriff’s Office said; the rapper attempted to drive out of Riva Motorsports when he was ambushed by two masked gunmen who came from a SUV which blocked his passage.

One of the assailants repeatedly shot at the rapper, then took a Louis Vuitton bag containing a reported $50,000 before escaping in an SUV.

The men involved have been identified as Dedrick Williams, 26; Trayvon Newsome, 24; and Michael Boatwright, 28.

All three were found guilty of first-degree murder and armed robbery in the Broward County court.

They are set to return to court on April 6 for a sentencing hearing.

ABC reports that they had pleaded not guilty, however a fourth person, Robert Allen, 25, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder last year and testified for the prosecution against the other three.

Prosecutors said that Boatwright was the gunman who opened fire, that Newsome was the other gunman and that Williams was the driver of the SUV.
