Viral hit song ‘Toni-Ann Singh’ has reportedly surpassed two million in streams popular music streaming platform Spotify.
The Popcaan featured Burna Boy track which was the second official single from his recently released Love Damani Album has racked up in excess of 2,102,000 since its release in July according to data from the platform.
The single which is suspected to be an ode to Dancehall star’s love former Miss Universe Toni-Ann Singh raced to viral popularity as the unofficial announcement of their courtship.
Speaking of reception, the effort has been dubbed by many as the golden standard of affection for declaration of love especially among the ladies who have jokingly stated that if a song is not being written in their honor it may be questionable.
Jokes aside the song has experienced favorable reviews by the masses with praises for poppy for his public declaration as well as Burna giving a massive endorsement for the idea on his album.
The effort has boosted the hype around the album and has been seen as a welcomed follow-up to Burna’s smash hit ‘Last Last’ with the album reportedly registering more than 107 million streams.
The song has generated over 1 million streams on YouTube and is currently the 17th most trending song on the island.
