Travis Scott is the first rapper to sell out the So-Fi stadium and outpace Taylor Swift and K-Pop Group BTS in merchandise sales at the venue during the Los Angeles stop of his Circus Maximus tour.
Scott’s historic feat was confirmed on So-Fi Stdium‘s social media page.
In addition to the 70,000 capacity crowd that gathered to see Scott live, the Live Nation-produced show is reported to have generated an average of $85 per attendee in registered merchandise sales, as per media outlet Hits Daily Double.
Scott’s album UTOPIA is reported to be the biggest rap release of 2023, with sales of more than 1.4 million in the US to date, following its number 1 opening week sales of 496,000.
