NBA player Tristan Thompson is once again in midst of social firestorm, following the revelation of a paternity test that confirmed him as the father to a child outside of his on-and-off relationship with Khloe Kardashian.
Thompson, 32, took to Instagram to issue a public apology to Kardashian, 37, with whom he shares a 3-year-old daughter (True Thomson), following the results of the test.
“You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you,” Thompson wrote.
“Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry,” he concluded.
This came after his admission to his infidelity with Maralee Nicholas, the woman who claimed Thompson to be the father of her newborn.
He initially denied the rumors surrounding the allegations by Nicholas after messages between the two were leaked in December.
This marks the latest in the Khloé-Tristan saga which follows their initial split in 2019 after Thompson and former family friend Jordan Woods were caught kissing at a party at their residence. They then called it quits in 2021 after cheating rumors emerged again at Drake’s party before getting back together later in the year.
