Amapiano superstar Tyla premiered the official music video for her viral hit “Jump” featuring Dancehall star Skillibeng and rap A-lister “Gunna” on Monday.
Staying true to Tyla’s roots the video was shot in her native South Africa, delivering that authentic and compelling visual of the cultural vibrance, beauty and creativity of the African experience.
The track has been a fan favourite since its release as part of Tyla’s self-titled debut album, with several online dance trends emerging, in support of the song. A trend reminiscent of the virality of the break-out smash “Water.”
Skillibeng’s “wtty and complimentary” intro to the song has been an equally popular aspect of the single, fueling the track’s popularity.
“Jump’s” growing popularity is also reflected in downloads, with the collaboration registering over 100,000 in the US, as per Chart Data.
