The connection comes amidst a cloud of controversy around her post early in the day.

While the statement was vague in nature with no obvious aim in particular, that didn’t stop many social media users from speculating that it was shade toward dancehall star Jada Kingdom.

The heightened speculations have pushed Jada Kingdom to the top trending topics on social media locally.

The origin of the alleged shade throwing comes from rumors of a reported brewing romance between Jada and Steff’s ex-boyfriend, Afrobeat star- Burna Boy.
Rumors started swirling after Jada was spotted wearing Burna Boy’s infamous Damini chain.
