Dancehall star Vybz Kartel remains in the mix of the most listened-to artistes from Jamaica globally as his collaboration with Rap star Sukhiana-“Pilates,” returned among the most downloaded songs in Reggae on iTunes at number three.
The single, which previously topped the charts shortly after its release in March, has floated around the top 20 Reggae songs on the platform over the past month as it steadily finds its way among the top purchases in the genre.
The latest surge of interest in Kartel’s music was also evident on Apple Music, where his recently released “Party With Me” Ep jumped to number four on the Top Reggae Albums Charts on Saturday.
In the meantime, It’s unclear if attention around his just-concluded 5 day trial hearing impacted the recent surge in his music
