Vybz Kartel continues reaffirming his status as the musical “world boss” after his 10th Anniversary (Vybz is King ) album debuted as the number-one project in Reggae on iTunes.

The anniversary deluxe edition, officially released on Friday, joined the rare group of projects to dethrone “King of Reggae” Bob Marley as the most downloaded (purchased) album globally in the genre on the platform.

The project is also among the top three most-streamed albums on Apple Music on the Reggae Charts.

The chart’s success adds to a thrilling week for the gold-selling artiste, who looks set to make his first debut appearance at Sunday’s Grammy Awards after seemingly celebrating the approval of his US Visa earlier this week.

Kartel, who earned his first Grammy nod for his “Party With Me EP,” is noted among the favourites to claim the top honour in Reggae Music come Sunday.
