The fixtures for the FIFA 2022 World Cup have all now been confirmed following the completion of Tuesday’s final pair Round of 16 games.

Tuesday’s games, which saw Portugal and Morocco secure their victories over Switzerland and Spain respectively, see them now join fellow quarter-finalists Argentina, Croatia, England, France, Netherlands, and Brazil.

The last eight, which begins on Friday, will see Argentina face the Netherlands in the opening fixture, while five-time World Cup winners Brazil set to take the field against Croatia in the earlier encounter.

Reigning Champions France will be attempting to extend their title defense when they face England on Saturday afternoon, with former champions Spain facing former European winners Portugal in their earlier game on the day.

France, Croatia, and England all reached at least the semi-finals in the 2018 Russia-hosted world cup while Morocco, Portugal, Argentina, and the Netherlands are all seeking to break that drought.
